FolkWEST Street Team

FolkWest produces grass-roots festivals in the truest sense -- we are a non-profit organization whose goal is to employ talented musicians for an appreciative audience in a beautiful setting at affordable prices.

We aim to keep the "not too big, not too small" feel of the festival. BUT -- it is important that we sell enough tickets to ensure the event continues with the same folksy, laid-back flavor it currently enjoys.

How can you help, you ask? By joining the Festival Street Team. Simply send us an email with your address and we'll send you enough posters and brochures to distribute around your community.

We typically have posters ready to go about 2 months prior to the festival, so that's the best time to send your information.

By volunteering a couple hours of your time to distribute our materials to the best locations (no one knows your town better than you!), you'll help us keep our marketing costs down and assist in keeping ticket prices affordable.

If you'd like to join the Street Team, please send an email to dan@folkwest.com and tell us how many posters you think would cover the strategic spots in your community: music store, coffee shops, bookstores, library, laundromats and any popular "hangouts." No town is too small. Thanks in advance for your help in spreading the word to music fans across the region!
